Complete set for ceramic long-term sealing of paintwork. The set includes the two sealing products Basecoat Evo and Glosscoat Evo, as well as the preparation product Prepare and three applicator sponges with a microfibre surface. WHAT IS A CERAMIC SEAL? Coating is a special form of sealing and is understood to mean the application of a firmly adhering closed layer to a surface. If the coating is based on a framework of silicon-containing compounds, we speak of ceramic seals. In contrast to waxes, a coating actively combines with the paint and is therefore much more durable. When fully cured, it behaves like a second clear coat. WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES? A paint coated with CC Evo offers new properties such as significantly improved hydrophobicity (beading, water beading off), increased chemical resistance and improved UV resistance. The coating thus protects against harmful biological influences such as insect dirt, bird droppings and tree resin stains. A very important function that a ceramic coating gives the paint is protection against re-soiling and a certain self-cleaning effect. Ultimately, it is the optically perfect impression that a deep-colored, high-gloss paint leaves after it has been professionally coated.
